When I think of Nepal, I'm filled with the smell of incense. These are a pictures of Kathmandu and Pokhara, including time I spent in a meditation retreat at the Kopan Monastery. The people of Nepal are the kindest I've met in the world, and the mountainous sceneries are awe-inspiring.
These pictures are mostly from Hanoi, Cát Bà, and Halong Bay. Cát Bà was one of my most memorable experiences, driving around on a motorbike around a small, quiet island that time seems to have forgotten.
I love photographing animals, it's challenging but rewarding. These were taken in Nepal, Indonesia, Western Canada and Thailand.
A month-long camping roadtrip through British Columbia and Alberta yielded immensely beautiful photo opportunities. The picturesques lakes and mountains were taken at Banff and Jasper National Parks among great places along the way.
I find fishermen make for very immersive photo subjects. There's something about the solitude, patience, and tranquility of the work that draws one in. These are fishermen photographed in China, Indonesia, and Nepal.
New Zealand, a place of magical exploration, where the grace of nature knows no end. I had the opportunity to spend a few months in New Zealand, including a notable roadtrip-camping for a month around the South Island. The fields are green, the mountaintops white, and the drives take you along open oceanswept coastal roads.
A few of my favourite photographs, including the jazzman from Central Park, the magical trees of Haast, New Zealand, and the playful young nuns from the Kopan Nunnery of Nepal.
Camping and roadtripping through British Columbia and Alberta allowed for amazing photo opportunities. These were taken at Yoho National Park, Whistler, Pacific Rim National Park, and San Josef Bay, at the remote edges of Vancouver Island.
